General Terms and Conditions with Customer Information
1) Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of Team Viking GmbH apply to all contracts for the delivery of goods between the seller and the customer (consumer or business customer).
The customer’s own terms and conditions are expressly excluded unless otherwise agreed.
These GTC also apply to contracts for the delivery of vouchers.
A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their commercial or self-employed professional activity.
A business customer is any natural or legal person or legally capable partnership acting in the exercise of commercial or self-employed professional activity.
2) Conclusion of Contract
Product descriptions in the online shop do not constitute a binding offer; they are an invitation for the customer to submit an offer.
The customer submits a binding contract offer via the online order form, by email, by telephone or by post.
The seller may accept the offer within five days by issuing an order confirmation, delivering the goods, or requesting payment.
If PayPal is selected, payment is processed via PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, Luxembourg.
The contract text is stored after conclusion and provided to the customer by email, fax or letter.
Customers with an online account may view their orders in their account.
Before submitting the order, the customer may review and correct input errors.
The contract may be concluded in multiple languages depending on the shop settings.
Order processing and communication generally take place by email. The customer is responsible for providing a correct address and configuring SPAM filters accordingly.
3) Right of Withdrawal
Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal.
Details are provided in the seller’s withdrawal policy.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers residing outside the EU with an exclusive delivery address outside the EU.
4) Prices and Payment Terms
All prices shown are total prices including statutory VAT.
Any additional delivery or shipping costs are displayed separately.
For deliveries outside Switzerland and Liechtenstein, additional charges such as bank fees, customs duties or taxes may apply and must be borne by the customer.
Payment methods available are displayed in the online shop.
For advance payment by bank transfer, the amount is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.
Payments processed via Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Dublin) are handled according to their terms.
5) Delivery and Shipping Conditions
Delivery is made within the delivery area to the address provided by the customer.
For freight forwarding deliveries, delivery is made to the curbside unless otherwise agreed.
If delivery fails for reasons attributable to the customer, the customer bears any resulting costs.
For business customers, the risk of accidental loss or deterioration passes to the carrier upon handover; for consumers, upon receipt of the goods.
The seller may withdraw from the contract if self-supply is not possible despite a proper covering transaction.
In-store pickup is free of shipping costs.
Vouchers are delivered by post.
Store Pickup (“Click & Collect”)
Customers may collect online orders from their chosen Team Viking GmbH branch after selecting “Store Pickup”.
Once the order is ready for pickup, notification will be sent by email.
Goods must be collected within 14 days of the pickup notification.
If not collected, Team Viking GmbH may cancel the order and charge a handling and storage fee of CHF 10.00. Prepaid amounts will be refunded minus this fee.
Pickup periods can be extended upon request. Without agreement, goods will be returned to stock after the deadline.
Repeated failure to collect may result in future orders only being accepted with prepayment or delivery.
6) Retention of Title
The seller retains ownership of the delivered goods until full payment has been received.
7) Warranty (Liability for Defects)
Statutory warranty rights apply unless otherwise stated.
For business customers:
• The seller may choose the method of subsequent performance.
• Limitation period for new goods is one year from delivery.
• Warranty for used goods is excluded.
• The limitation period does not restart after replacement delivery.
These restrictions do not apply in cases of damages, fraudulent concealment of defects, building materials, or legal obligations to provide digital updates.
Statutory recourse rights remain unaffected.
Consumers are requested (without obligation) to report transport damage to the carrier and notify the seller.
8) Liability
The seller is fully liable:
• for intent or gross negligence
• for injury to life, body or health
• under a guarantee
• under mandatory law (e.g., product liability law)
For negligent breaches of essential obligations, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damages.
All further liability is excluded.
This also applies to agents and legal representatives.
9) Redemption of Promotional Vouchers
Promotional vouchers are free vouchers issued with a limited validity period.
They may only be redeemed in the online shop and only during the specified period.
They apply exclusively to consumers.
Certain products may be excluded.
Only one promotional voucher per order is allowed.
Remaining balances are not refunded or credited with interest.
In case of returns, the voucher value is not reimbursed.
Promotional vouchers are transferable.
10) Redemption of Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers may only be redeemed in the online shop.
They are valid until the end of the third year after purchase.
Remaining balances are credited until expiration.

If the voucher value is insufficient, the difference may be paid via another method.
Cash payout is excluded.
Gift vouchers are transferable.

A flat fee of CHF 10 is deducted to compensate for CO₂ emissions.
Sustainability Policy (CO₂ Compensation for Returns)
Team Viking places great importance on responsible use of resources.
Every return produces CO₂ emissions from transport and packaging.
To offset this, a flat fee of CHF 10 is deducted from refunds and used for certified climate and environmental projects.
At the end of each calendar year, Team Viking publicly announces which organisations or projects received the collected funds.
This measure supports responsible consumption and more sustainable logistics.
Storage of Uncollected or Rejected Returns
If a return is rejected or not collected in time, the goods are considered duly offered.
According to Art. 91 ff. Swiss Code of Obligations (default of acceptance), storage is at the customer's risk and expense.
